Community Day Camp 2020

Due to COVID-19, we do not feel it is safe to plan Community Day Camp 2020. We are incredibly saddened to have to make this difficult decision. We will miss all of the shining faces and bright laughter this year. Please consider coming back to join us in the Summer of 2021!

Nursery and Sunday School 9 am and 11 am

All Sunday School Teachers and Nursery Caregivers pass a thorough Washington State Background Check. Every volunteer and staff goes through various training and maintain an Adult and Infant CPR certification.

August  Curriculum: Helpers of the Bible

This month, we continue with our series on  different helpers within the Bible who we may not know a lot about. We can then learn how to apply these helpful qualities within our own lives!

Until we reopen for regular service, sunday school curriculum is being emailed weekly. If you are not currently receiving the weekly sunday school curriculum and would like to, please send an email to: christianeducation@spokanevalleychurch.org

August 2nd: Jonah

This lesson will help younger children understand why it is important to listen to god and do what he says, instead of coming up with excuses.

August 9th : Joseph

At the end of this story, we see that all things work together for the good of those who love god.

August 16th: Mary and Martha

Children will discover how to be aware of Jesus and when to give him their special attention.

August 23rd: Mary Magdalene

Will teach children that god is pleased when we tell others about Jesus.

August 30th: Samson

Children will learn that their talents and strengths are gifts from God.

  3.  Bringing a friend -- There is power in community
  4. Learning the memory verse -- Every week there is a small verse as well as a unit Bible verse to memorize by choice
