May Curriculum: I Want to be Like Jesus

This month’s curriculum is a series that shows how we can be like Jesus by the ways we rely on God, know and follow His commands, show love and kindness, and serve others! Friday before any particular Sunday, the curriculum will be posted to be used within your own home-- Please join us and send pictures of the activities you do!

May 3rd: Judging Others

This lesson teaches children that we all need forgiveness and that we should not have a fault-finding attitude toward others.

May 10th: Special Mothers of the Bible

Children will learn about three special mothers in the Bible and discover how important mothers really are!

May 17th: Live Joyfully

Children will learn the difference between want and need. They will discover the key to contentment. They will see how much Paul loved others and encouraged them to live joyfully for Christ in all circumstances.

May 24th: Making Promises

This lesson will help children understand the value of keeping promises. They will also learn that to be like Jesus, they must always tell the truth.

May 31st: The Lord's Prayer

In this lesson, the children will learn that Jesus teaches us the importance of communicating with God through the power of prayer.
