Mission & Service and United Women in Faith are welcoming Joy Prim, missionary to the migrant workers in Hong Kong, on Thursday, July 16 at Spokane Valley UMC!
There will be activities, food, and an opportunity to gather supplies for the workers Joy serves. See the schedule below!
3:30-5:30pm
· The sanctuary will be open to pray for the women migrant workers in Hong Kong.
· There will be an opportunity to help Joy prepare dinner.
· You may view a table of information from Joy.
· There will be a display of cards for sale, created by the migrant workers.
· And there will be some fun activities (you’ll just have to come and see what they are!).
5:30-6:30pm
· No-cost dinner (an RSVP would be appreciated - call Mackenzie at SVUMC at 509-924-7262).
6:30-7:30pm
· Joy will speak in the sanctuary about her work in Hong Kong with the migrant workers.
· A free-will offering will be taken.
We will also collect supplies for Joy to bring back to Hong Kong! You can bring items such as:
· Small tubes of toothpaste
· Toothbrushes
· Over the counter/unused vitamins
